Eternal Wonder (formerly Empty Wheelchair) is Albin Appelqvist, a Psychedelic Trance artist from Torsås, southern Sweden. Born into a musical family with roots in Jazz and soul, Albin chose a different path, starting his journey at 14 with music production.
Initially delving into sample-based Tech-Trance and Electronica, Albin’s music continued to evolve, leading him to eventually produce his very own psytrance tracks. Inspired by the vibrant sounds of the international Psytrance scene, he quickly became enamored with it’s melodies and rhythms. In 2011, Albin released his debut
EP, “The Countdown,” marking the beginning of his music career.
Throughout his career, Albin has collaborated with a wide range of artists within the EDM genre and beyond, including Psy-Conversion (Now known as Aximetrik), E&T Project, Adée, Atongmu and more. His style seamlessly blends melodic Psytrance elements with influences from house music and cinematic soundtracks, with a bit of elements from ambient, uplifting trance and other psychedelic soundscapes.
Albin’s debut album, “Motherhood,” was released in 2014, followed by the second album, “Faithful Daydreamer,” released in July 2022. With an expanding international presence, Eternal Wonder has taken center stage with performances across Europe, notably in Sweden, Germany, and Denmark. Eternal Wonder’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of Psychedelic Trance establishes him as a noteworthy artist, weaving a sonic tapestry that transcends borders and resonates with audiences worldwide.
