Lovisa Niklasson is a singer/songwriter from southern Öland, now living in Stockholm, who creates Swedish music with a strong focus on lyrics and emotion.
In May 2021, she released her debut EP “Skyttegravar”, where the austere, stripped-down and windswept environment of southern Öland reflects her music and songs.
In the spring of 2023, Lovisa appeared in SVT’s prestigious program Songland, where her song “Golvet i hallen”, originally written by Lovisa herself, took home the winning prize. The song was later reworked together with Joakim Berg, Oscar Zia and Carl Falk and released by Oscar Sia on Sony Records.
Since then, Lovisa has been deeply engaged in songwriting and self-discovery. On June 13, 2025, she released “Alla starka föds ur svek”, the first single from her upcoming second EP of the same title. In July 2025, she played live as support for Sophie Zelmani during Musik på Larmtorget, followed by Live At Heart performances in Örebro and her latest singles, “Ett steg i taget” and “Det jag ser”.
The releases continues her musical journey with honest and emotional lyrics about the passage of time, healing, and embracing one’s own worth.
