Sára Bokor – Evangeline

17-year-old Sara Bokor from Torsås shows maturity in both songwriting and expression in this emotional ballad about maturity and courage. A song about daring to believe in yourself and taking the step into the unknown and trusting that things will work out. For a debut with her own material, Sara shows that she is a force to be reckoned with! From previously being more focused on jazz, she is now broadening her horizons towards new musical landscapes – and she does it with honor!

– “My name is Sára Bokor and the song I have released is called Evangeline. This is the first song I’ve gotten to write that deals with feelings of being lost. Lost in what you want to achieve and who you are but also what path to take in life. It addresses topics around expectations you can have of yourself and daring to explore and try even if you are unsure. In this way, you can discover what you really want. The name Evangeline comes from a book where the main character left a special impression on me and has been an inspiration for the song. My hope is that listeners can find their own connections and interpret the song in different ways.”
