The brothers Martin and Adam Dimpker from the metropolis of Hulta in Småland, Sweden, have recently returned from a month-long release tour in the United States and are following a tradition that is quite common in American music. Two brothers singing together and finding a magical synthesis. Think Louvin Brothers or Everly Brothers in the present day. Because the Dimpker Brothers’ mix of Americana and pop is very much here and now and has nothing to do with nostalgia.
A true icon of the American music scene, Portland Oregon native Jerry Joseph is now embarking on a release tour for his latest masterpiece, “Baby, You’re The Man Who Would Be King”, recorded with members of Bruce Springsteen’s legendary E-Street Band in New York. With a career spanning four decades, Joseph is consistently critically acclaimed and recognized as one of America’s top songwriters and live performers.
And we can tell you that Carl Jörneklint & Vemodet will also join us this evening and perform live at Clarion Collection Hotel Post! Carl Jörneklint is a Swedish singer-songwriter who lives and works in Oskarshamn, Småland. The lyrics are autobiographical descriptions of the author’s feelings and experiences. They are usually described as elegiac, open, and naked. There is almost no filter, which allows you to feel the emotions.
