Erik Rengren is a singer/songwriter from the east coast of Sweden. In his songs he takes you on a journey through his mind – emotions and thoughts wrapped in metaphorical and poetic lyrics.
Mainly acoustic and highly melodic sounds with roots in American folk music bring these words alive, painting pictures in your head.
2017 was the year when he introduced his music the first time to an audience, performing at Imagine Sweden (formerly Musik Direkt). After winning the regional final in Kalmar, he had the opportunity to go to Uddevalla and play in Sweden’s national final. Since then he has played in many of Sweden’s cities.
