On April 21, Martin Lönegren releases “Aging,” the next chapter in his unfolding Stripped story.

Upbeat, warm and quietly profound, Aging is a song that turns the fear of growing older on its head. Rather than mourning the passing of time, it meets it with gratitude – because to age is, after all, to have lived. With vivid, intimate imagery and the clear-eyed tenderness of a poet, Martin reflects on the marks time leaves behind: in the body, in the face, in memory, and in the mirror of family resemblance.

 

As part of the Stripped project, Aging adds a new shade to the story – one of acceptance, dignity and grace, where every wrinkle becomes not a loss, but proof of life.
